Despite Covid-related postponements, last year’s campaign was a huge success, with hundreds of clubs getting involved, altogether raising over £500,000 for the cause.

But as the cost-of-living crisis worsens, homelessness and unsafe housing conditions are affecting all of our communities.

Organisations like Shelter, who help anyone facing homelessness or poor housing, whilst also fighting the systemic causes of the housing emergency, have never been more important.

With that in mind, we want to help make the second year of No Home Kit bigger and better.

We encourage all our clubs to dedicate one home fixture across the Christmas period to the campaign. Most importantly, this means wearing No Home Kit for that fixture, and encouraging fans to get involved by swapping kits and donating.

The National League General Manager Mark Ives said: “We are delighted to be working with Shelter once again on their #NoHomeKit campaign.

“We had an amazing response last year from the campaign and getting involved again was an easy decision.

“The football community know more than anyone how important the feeling of home is. Every 90 minutes, 25 households are made homeless. That is something we simply cannot ignore.

“For clubs who wish to take part, we are asking them to swap their home kit for their away or third kits for a fixture over the festive period to raise awareness of their devastating impact the housing emergency is having on lives across the country.”

We have now dedicated our home game on New Year’s Day to the No Home Kit campaign, with Farnborough players wearing the white and navy blue away kit.
