Very sadly, Ted Pearce former Football Manager of Farnborough Town, passed away last night (Friday) at Frimley Park Hospital aged 80 after a long illness.

Ted was appointed in 1970 at the infancy of the club and took the club forward with several promotions from playing park football in the Surrey County League to The National League equivalent in 1989. A truly remarkable achievement.

He finally handed over the reins to Alan Taylor in 1993 and had contributed hugely to the status the club enjoys today.

From all of us associated with Farnborough Town FC and supporters that have memories of Ted’s huge accomplishments, may we say Rest in Peace.
