Farnborough return to the Easy as HGV Stadium to take on Hemel Hempstead Town in a re-arranged Vanarama National League South game.
The game was initially supposed to take place at the beginning of December, however was postponed due to poor weather.
Boro jumped up to 11th in the table thanks to a Mason Bloomfield winner away at Bath City at the weekend and will hope to continue their perfect start to 2023.
Spencer Day will be hoping his side can get some revenge over Hemel Hempstead Town after losing 1-0 there on the opening day of the season. “I don’t think we were poor on the opening day, we certainly didn’t get any decisions that’s for sure.”
“Hemel have signed some really good players… they’ve got a really strong squad.” Spencer added, speaking before the game was originally supposed to take place back in December.
The Tudors come into the game off the back of a 0-0 draw against Dover Athletic and are on a three-game unbeaten run since Brad Quinton took over as Manager.
The unbeaten run includes a 3-1 away win over high-flying Dartford, which put an end to a run of five games without a win away from home.
In the past five meetings with Hemel Hempstead Town, Farnborough only have one win, this was a 3-0 home triumph on New Year’s Day 2010. Since that win however, there have been two draws and two defeats, including the loss on the opening day of this season.
Let’s continue the unbeaten start to 2023 and push to close the gap to the top 10. Come on Farnborough!
