Farnborough will look to get back to winning ways as they travel to Canvey Island to take on Concord Rangers.
Boro’s 13 game unbeaten streak came to an end at home to Hemel Hempstead Town in midweek and boss Spencer Day will hope his side can bounce back after a disappointing defeat.
The loss meant Farnborough dropped down to 12th in the table, being leap frogged by The Tudors who jumped to 11th.
Concord Rangers sit 22nd in the table and are on a run of five games without a win including three defeats to Ebbsfleet United, Oxford City and Cheshunt.
Looking ahead to the first game this season against The Beach Boys, Spencer Day will be hoping the quick turn around can help his side, “let’s see if these boys can react.”
“Let’s start a new run, let’s see how good this lot really are, let’s see if we can bounce back and go again on Saturday.”
Despite Concord Rangers’ position, they still have a very good home record this season with 16 of their 22 points coming at Thames Road, having only lost once in their previous six games at home.
The four previous meetings between the two sides have not gone well for Farnborough; losing all four games without scoring a goal and conceding 17 goals across those four games.
Let’s get back to winning ways and start a new unbeaten run. Come on Farnborough!
