Farnborough host Weymouth as they look to bounce back from a disappointing away defeat to Eastbourne Borough at the weekend.

Boro’s first loss of the month saw Spencer Day’s side drop out the top 10, with the opportunity to regain that place with a win.

Opponents Weymouth have struggled to find form this season, and sit 23rd in the table, two points from safety.

The previous game between the two sides back in October was a tight, cagey affair, with Boro coming away with a 1-0 win thanks to a goal from Jack Ball.

Bobby Wilkinson’s side drew their most recent game 0-0 at home to play-off chasing St Albans City, after back-to-back 2-1 defeats to Concord Rangers and Hemel Hempstead Town.

Looking ahead to the game, Farnborough Assistant Manager Leigh Dynan hopes that Boro can bounce back after a tough result: “It’ll be another tough, tough game. Bobby has got them working their socks off. We have to be up for the fight, hopefully the boys are switched on, and recover well.”

The Terras have struggled away from home this season, losing their previous four games. This bodes well for Boro who have had an inconsistent home record so far this term.

Let’s hope to return to winning ways. Come on Farnborough!
