Farnborough return to action on Tuesday night with an away trip to 17th placed Taunton Town.

The game is a re-arranged fixture after the previous match was postponed due to poor weather back in December.

Boro won the previous meeting between the two sides at the start of the season, with a 1-0 victory thanks to Omar Rowe. The win was Farnborough’s first since promotion back to The Vanarama National League South.

The Yellows have the chance to jump up into the top 10 with a win after they beat Cheshunt in dominant fashion at the weekend.

Looking ahead to the game, Manager Spencer Day was very complimentary of the opposition: “They’ve got a fantastic defensive record, they’re unbeaten in three. They’re a very strong physical side, and a lot of it’s mental, you’ve got to get yourself ready to go down there on a Tuesday night.”

Taunton Town have played the least games in the division, only playing 23 games so far this season. They haven’t lost in three, with two wins over both Eastbourne Borough and Havant & Waterlooville.

The Peacocks have had a fantastic home record this season, only losing once at the Cygnet Health Care Stadium all season, winning five and drawing five.

In the previous six meetings between the sides, the games have been very competitive with three wins for each side. Farnborough have won their games over Taunton Town, 1-0, 3-2 and 4-0. Meanwhile, The Peacocks have recorded a 2-1, 0-1 and 3-1 victory over Boro.

The fixture is always a competitive one. Let’s keep the unbeaten League run going. Come on Farnborough!
