The 30-year-old shot-stopper joined Boro in December 2021, having kept 25 clean sheets in 60 appearances for the club. Having been an ever-present between the sticks since joining, he has quickly become a fan favourite with memorable saves at the Play-Off Final and in our recent FA Cup run.
Upon signing his extension, Turner said: “I’m really excited to sign an 18-month contract and build on what we’ve done as a team recently.
Reflecting on his time so far, Boro’s number one added: “I’ve never enjoyed my football as much as I have done over the last 13 months down here, plus my little family are so loved here and love coming to watch too!
“The changing room, the boys and the environment is something special so can’t wait to see where the next 18 months can take us…. FOOTBALLLLLLLLLLL”
Manager Spencer Day commented: “We are delighted to secure Jack for next season. This shows the positivity around the club at the moment, as well as our intent for next season that we have been able to secure one of our senior players at this stage.”
