Lovatt joins on loan until the end of the season from our friends at Sutton United.
The 23-year-old, started off his career with Eastbourne Town before making the short hop to Eastbourne Borough in 2016. A move to Hastings United followed during the 2017/18 season, where he made over 100 appearances and went on to sign for Sutton United of The National League in November 2020.
Adam made his Sutton United debut away at Barnet in May 2021, before signing a new deal after The U’s promotion into The Football League at the end of that season. Nearly a year later, Lovatt made his Football League debut at The County Ground in a League Two game against Swindon Town and has since gone on to make over a dozen appearances at the level in 2022/23.
Al-Hussaini moves to Hampshire, having left League Two Crawley Town last month.
More notably, the 22-year-old signed a professional contract with Derby County in 2018, before leaving The Rams a year later and dipping into Non-League with the likes of Potters Bar Town, Hampton & Richmond Borough and Staines Town.
The Chelsea born winger joined Crawley Town at the start of the 2020/21 season, but only went on to make three senior appearances for the Sussex side. Zaid also had some loan spells with Weymouth, Chelmsford City, Chippenham Town and Maidstone United throughout his time.
Both players made their Farnborough debuts at Dartford last weekend.
Manager Spencer Day explained: “Adam is somebody that I’ve monitored for some time. He got in the First Team at Sutton – who we have a really good relationship with. I’m really grateful to Matt [Gray, Manager].
“He was playing in League Two and he got concussion. He’s been out, he’s been injured and the opportunity was to grab him. He’s played a lot of games at this level on loan aswell and we need his experience.”
“Zaid has been released by Crawley. He’s clearly got pedigree, just finished being a pro and he’s going to have to sharpen up quick. It is hard for players to come in and it’s tough at the moment.”
