Boro boss Spencer Day makes Perez his sixth Summer signing, ahead of a new season in The Vanarama National League South.

The 22-year-old central midfielder was a prominent figure in Danny Bloor’s Eastbourne Borough side that finished three points adrift of the Play-Offs last season.

Jaden totalled 28 appearances for The Sports last campaign, finding the net twice; against Concord Rangers and Havant & Waterlooville.

The highly-rated midfielder signed for Eastbourne Borough in 2020, but since has also previously spent time on loan with Burgess Hill Town.

Speaking at his first Training session as a Boro player, Perez said: “I’m just buzzing to be here and get the deal finally done.

“I just can’t wait to get started now!”

Manager Spencer Day commented: “Another young player who has been a real success in The National League South for Eastbourne.

“Can play as the 4 or 8 and gives us good balance with other players in the squad.

“Strangely is Jordan Norville-Williams’ Uncle, so work that one out!!!”
