Andy who was a life long supporter of Farnborough Football Club sadly passed away during closed season.

Crisis was a Charity was close to Andy’s heart. So, in his memory, the Club used this game to raise funds for the Homelessness Charity.

The Club are pleased to announce the total amount of donations on the day by both sets of supporters totalled £808.35.

Farnborough Manager Spencer Day added: “I still find it staggering that I’m standing there clapping at the death of, quite frankly, a very young guy. No age at all.

“I’m looking back and there’s a picture of him on the big screen. It’s incredibly sad.

“I’m really glad that the Club are doing the right thing, as always, for our fabulous fans. A great reception.”

“It’s really terrible. To me, it literally feels like a couple of weeks ago we were at the Presentation evening and saying ‘well done’. He loved the Club. He is really sorely missed.

“It’s hard to take when you look back and it was somebody who was sitting up here doing Radio Commentaries. It’s a very sad loss and obviously, our condolences to his friends and family.”
