The 25-year striker joins on a 28-day loan from West Midlands outfit Solihull Moors.

Hall landed a two-year deal with The Moors in May 2023, after racking up 33 goals in 79 games for Chorley between 2020 and 2023. Last season, Connor totalled 23 goals in 45 games.

Boro’s new frontman has some history in the FA Cup from the 2020/21 season. Notably, the lethal frontman scored a winning extra-time goal at Wigan Athletic in the First Round Proper of the competition, as well as a crucial equaliser as his Chorley side came from behind to win 2-1 at Peterborough United in the following Round.

Another memorable FA Cup goal was his opener in a 2-0 Third Round Proper victory over Derby County in January 2021.

Born in Slough, Connor started his career with Sheffield United in 2016, with loan spells at Sheffield, Mickleover Sports and Woking following.

He joined Bolton Wanderers in July 2017 and spent some time on loan with Accrington Stanley and Chorley – the latter where he joined permanently after a stint with Woking in The National League.

Farnborough Manager Spencer Day commented:

“Delighted to get one of the leading scorers at our level for the past two years.

“He’s chosen us over loads of clubs and lives locally which is a big help.”

Connor will wear shirt number 27 and goes straight into the squad for Saturday’s home FA Cup tie against Weston-super-Mare.
