Farnborough play their last of three consecutive away games this weekend as they take on Slough at Arbour Park.

Boro were humbled last time out as they fell to a 4-0 defeat away at Taunton Town. First half goals from Ollie Chamberlain and Lloyd James gave The Peacocks a 2-0 lead going into the break. Ross Stearn added a third in the 60th minute before substitute Cameron Evans added a fourth just five minutes from time. The defeat dropped The Yellows to 13th in the table.

Slough Town dropped out of The Isuzu FA Trophy last weekend as they lost 1-0 to Vanarama National League side Bromley. Ryan Jones’ first minute goal was left unanswered by The Rebels who fell to their first defeat in three games.

The Berkshire outfit have not played League football since Saturday 25 November, when they beat Braintree Town at home 3-0 thanks to goals from Johnny Goddard, Nathan Minhas, and Mickel Platt. The Rebels currently sit just two points and two places above the relegation zone.

The two sides have already met once this season when The Yellows were knocked out of The Isuzu FA Trophy at the Second Round Proper stage. Nathan Minhas opened the scoring in first half stoppage time to give Slough Town the lead going into the break. Aaron Kuhl levelled the game four minutes after the restart. However, Johnny Goddard sealed the game with a 67th minute free-kick to give The Rebels a place in the next round.

The home form of Scott Davies’ men this season has been strong, picking up four wins, two draws and four defeats at Arbour Park this term. They also have picked up three home wins in Cup competitions this season.

It’s the last of three consecutive away fixtures. Let’s finish with a win. Come on Farnborough!
