The 32-year-old centre-back makes a short hop across the border from Farnham Town, where he has been Club Captain since his move from Bracknell Town last summer.
At the age of 17, Guy started his playing career with Ashford Town (Middlesex) in the Isthmian Premier League, before signing for Carshalton Athletic after a couple of seasons.
Hollis then joined Godalming Town, where he met Joint-Managers Neil Baker and Jon Underwood, who eventually took him across to Slough Town.
Labelled a ‘Rolls-Royce’ for his sterling performances on the pitch, he went on to make over 200 appearances for the Berkshire outfit, most notably winning promotion to The National League South via the Play-Offs in 2017/18.
Guy had a short spell with Farnborough mid-way through the 2019/20 season and went on to play for Havant & Waterlooville following his departure from Arbour Park in January 2022.
The popular defender will now re-unite with former Manager Neil Baker, as well as former Rebels Jack Turner and Aaron Kuhl.
Manager Spencer Day commented: “Guy returns to give experience into our defence. He’s been here briefly and obviously has an extensive relationship with Bakes.
“He will bring competion for places in our back line which we know as a group needs to improve as we enter a crucial part of the season.”
Shortly after signing, Boro’s new defender said: “Excited to be back and challenge myself again at this level.
“I want to help push the team forward this season and can’t wait to see the fans again!”
Hollis has been allocated shirt number 6.
