Yellows boss Spencer Day has worked his magic once again, striking a deal to bring the popular 26-year-old back to the Saunders Transport Community Stadium for a second spell.

Kasimu is a familiar face to the Boro faithful, having spent the first of a memorable 2022/23 season in north east Hampshire, after joining us from AFC Totton in May 2022.

The lightning quick forward netted 12 times during his first spell in GU14 – his first taste of football at Step Two.

His Farnborough performances caught the eye of League Two Sutton United, who he signed for in January 2023.

Although injury prolonged the wait for his Football League debut, Hisham finally made his first appearance for The Us in a home clash with Gillingham in August 2023.

We were proud to see his first Sutton United goals earlier this season, back in September. First, in The EFL Trophy against Aston Villa U21’s and then Kasimu found the net away at Port Vale in The EFL Cup.

We would like to emphasise the great relationship between the two Clubs and we appreciate the Sutton United Backroom Staff, in particular, for helping to get the loan deal over the line.

After another busy week at the helm, Manager Spencer Day commented: “Of course, I’m delighted to get Hish back.

“I’ve been in contact with Sutton for many months and I’m thrilled he’s back.

“To get two of my three striker targets I spoke of is very exciting and I’m sure he will continue where he left off!”

Hisham will resume wearing shirt number 17.

It’s an exciting time to be a Farnborough fan, so come along and be the 12th man when we host Chelmsford City tomorrow (Saturday) afternoon. It’s a 3pm kick-off and we’re hoping for another bumper crowd!
