Joe Haigh signs

Haigh makes the step up from Isthmian League South Central side South Park, where he has been playing alongside his brother Marco.

Formerly of Chelsea’s Youth teams, the talented midfield has represented England at Under 15 and Under 16 level and was part of an England Under 19 training camp.

Joe joined Aldershot Town in October 2023, before making a permanent move to a South Park side currently sitting 8th in their Division.

Manager Spencer Day commented: “Joe’s got a great pedigree and he’s keen to be here. He’s come in almost on trial, he knows that.

“He was at Aldershot at the start of the season and there’s a very good chance he’s going to get some very good minutes in the next few weeks, because we have picked up a lot of injuries.

“Quite simply, we’re going to need a bigger squad and we need to bolster. He’s a really talented lad. Fingers crossed he’ll do well and enjoy it and we’ll go from there.”
