Simon has previous experience in this role, standing as a Director for The Southern League from 2018 up until June 2022.

Given The Southern League requires it’s Directors to be from Clubs that are Members of the League, Farnborough’s subsequent promotion to The National League resulted in Simon having to step down from the role.

Upon his appointment, our very own Simon Gardener commented:

Simon’s new role is effective from Saturday 8 June, following The National League AGM at The Celtic Manor Resort.
