Holly Blackall, Kelly Rutledge and Farrah Yewings join the Club, strengthening the team as time ticks down to our debut season in HCWFL Division 1.
Full-back Farrah Yewings joins from Eversley & California, and before that played at Ascot United.
Farrah’s ability to turn defence into attack will be vital for this season and has already impressed in training.
Yewings added: “Really looking forward to next season with Farnborough and excited to be part of the journey.”
Experienced central midfielder Kelly Rutledge joins from Southern Region Premier Division side Winchester City Flyers.
Kelly has a fantastic football brain and will give the team an energetic presence and precision all over the pitch.
Rutledge said: “I’m very pleased and excited to have joined the club, having seen the success of last season and what Farnborough are trying to build for the Women’s set up.
“Looking forward to getting stuck in and helping build on last season’s success.”
And finally, centre-back Holly Blackall joins after a few years out with injury, but she is ready to go for the season ahead.
Formerly at Bursledon Ladies and Southampton FC, Holly will help to build on an already solid defensive structure.
Blackall said: “Really excited to start playing with a quality group of girls. It’s going to take a while to get back into the swing of things and get my fitness back up, but there’s no other team I’d rather do it with!
“The passion radiates from everyone in management and it’s nice to see coaches, managers, physios and players putting the effort in. Can’t wait for the season to start, it’s gonna be a gooden!”
Farnborough Women Manager Craig Shields explained: “It’s always important to continue to build from a position of strength.
“We had a few priorities when it came to building on what was here and I’m delighted that we’ve managed to secure our top targets.
“I’m excited to see them perform on the pitch for us this season and add more quality to the team.”
