Your passion and dedication are the lifeblood of our Club, and we are immensely grateful for your continued loyalty.
Last season was filled with memorable moments, and while we faced our share of challenges, we also celebrated significant achievements.
This season, we are more determined than ever to build on that success and strive for even greater heights.
Season Ticket holders
Give it a go – it’s not too late to buy your 2024/25 Season Ticket!
Going into this season, the amount of Season Tickets holders increased to its highest level. Along with our loyal sponsors, together, we have broken all financial records in both areas.
The Directors and myself would like to thank each and every single sponsor (old & new) for your continued support.
Farnborough Football Club prides itself on working with companies within the community. “Our aim is to give the whole community a football club to be proud of.”
Stadium work carried out over the summer
Our team has been working tirelessly during the off-season. Under the leadership of Phil Martin and Kevin Dyer, teams of volunteers have refreshed the Stadium; painting and carrying out repairs where needed.
The Club would like to thank Paul Sampson for all his hard work and endless hours spent at the Club during the summer.
The Fanzone has had covers introduced, thanks to the hard work of Phil Martin.
The Club has also added a new food outlet: Sylvie’s Kitchen. This can be found just outside the Cafe and will open at 1pm on home match days. Give it a go and let us know your thoughts.
The Cafe has had both new doors and a new floor laid. Work is still ongoing as the Club is looking to decorate that area.
New carpet has also been laid on the stairs leading up to the Platinum Lounge and inside the Lounge.
The Club would like to thank Director Eddie Rourke for organising both refits.
London event
At the beginning of the summer, the Club held its first very successful off-site London event.
Hosted by Tony Cottee, the evening contained a number of items donated for auction.
All money raised will go to the Club and help with the upkeep of the Stadium.
Club Director Alan Betteridge was delighted with the success of this event and is already looking to hold more events closer to the Stadium – and even at the Stadium.
Thanks for all your hard work, Alan.
Farnborough FC Women update
Last season, for the first time in the Club’s history, Farnborough Football Club introduced not one, but TWO Women teams.
Farnborough FC Women completed a League and Cup double, with success in Division 3 of the Hampshire County Women’s Football League as well as the Hampshire FA Women’s Trophy.
Farnborough FC Women’s Development team finished second in the Hampshire County Women’s Football League Division 6 and also reached a Cup Final.
What an outstanding first season for everyone involved with the Women’s teams.
I recommend that if you haven’t yet seen our Women’s team play, you should do. Their last game ended 3-3 against a very good and strong Brentford Women side.
Community Projects
Club Director Lorriane Buckley has been working hard all over the summer, attending meeting after meeting on the Club’s community project, working with The National League Trust to make sure we become a CIO (Community Interest Organisation).
Making sure we operate in the correct manner is very important. Once we have reached the standard of CIO, I will update everyone.
Your Chairman
As you may have seen, your Chairman Simon Gardener has joined the Board of Directors of The National League.
Not being content at becoming the first person in the history Farnborough Football Club to become a Director of The Southern League, he has done it again.
I’m very proud to represent this fantastic football club as your Chairman. To now be on the Board of Directors of The National League is credit to everyone’s hard work over the years.
New Season
I think Pre-Season has gone as we sort of expected it. We challenged ourselves and it’s gone well for us.
After two very good seasons, just missing out on the final day, our target would be Play-Offs. We want to push for the Play-Offs, if not higher. Realistically, there are big Clubs in this League.
We’ve been in the top half for the last two seasons. We’re a hard team to beat, we’ve kept the squad from last year and added to it.
In my opinion, you’ve got to give Spencer and his Management team credit to keep the players. I’m excited.
We think we can push on. We’re going to upset a few teams along the way. Yeah, there are probably going to be a few bumps in the road as well.
The great thing about this Club is we all stick together. If we do that this season, let’s see where we end up at the final whistle.
Simon Gardener
