‘Millers’ is most known for his time at Hartley Wintney, where he leaves his position as Director of Football to join Farnborough in The National League South.

Anthony first started out as a Manager with Cove approximately 10 years ago and he enjoyed three successful seasons at Squirrel Lane.

He then moved to The Row in 2015/16 alongside Dan Brownlie and the pair won the Combined Counties Premier Division at the first attempt.

Over the years that followed, Millerick performed wonders to haul Hartley Wintney up to the Southern League Premier South – where they were even defeated twice by Farnborough during the 2021/22 campaign.

The Row’s main man stepped down in May 2022, bringing to an end seven emotional seasons at The Memorial Playing Fields.

Speaking to the Club’s Media this week, Millers explained how he’s ended up at Farnborough: “I finally succumbed to Spencer’s phone calls!

“I thought I’d have a little bit of a break from being in the hot seat. I wasn’t sure whether I was going to go back to being in the dugout side.

“I spoke to Spencer a couple of times over the years about the possibility of coming here.

“Farnborough is a big draw, it’s a big attraction and it’s a massive Club.”

“I know [Aaron] Kuhly fairly well. I’ve worked with Kuhly previously and I know what he can bring. I’ve heard a lot of good things.

“Jack Turner I know, who’s had a stellar career. I know the Ollie Robinson’s. The guys who are the foundations and the core of the side.

“When I’ve been in the hot seat, my sides have always been competitive. We’ve got a challenge on our hands, so let’s see what happens.

Local to Farnborough, Anthony also has a great relationship with Yellows boss Spencer Day, who sung his praises this week: “A very exciting addition to the Management team.

“It’s taken me a long time to get Millers in from Hartley Wintney. I’ve tried to get him in here for about three years!

“He’s going to come and join the Management group, specifically to focus on analysis.”

“We’ve got the most phenomenal 85-inch screen in the dressing room, which he actually supplied. He knows it backwards, so he can really assist getting up videos and analysis of other teams to help go through at training and during games.

“Really pleased for him to get on board. He’s done his time at local clubs. Very popular, so I’m delighted he’s joining us.”
