The 26-year-old leaves the Saunders Transport Community Stadium this week, with an opportunity arising in the full-time game.
Season 2021/22
Reggie returned for his second spell with us back in summer 2021, initially joining on loan from Hemel Hempstead Town.
He made 44 appearances in Farnborough’s promotion season from The Southern League Premier South, making the permanent move back to us in December 2021.
Young scored six goals for us that season, his last being the most crucial; a first half equaliser in the unforgettable Play-Off Final victory at Hayes & Yeading United.

Season 2022/23
With promotion added to his CV, Reggie stayed with Boro for the Club’s exciting return to The National League South.
The winger found the net a handful of times, against Dover Athletic, Cheshunt, Oxford City; Hayes & Yeading United in the FA Cup and Braintree Town in the FA Trophy.
He made 40 appearances as Farnborough settled for a respectable 12th place finish in the Club’s inaugural season back at Step Two.

Season 2023/24
Young featured on 44 occasions for The Yellows – and even picked up a rare red card in a Boxing Day victory at Havant & Waterlooville.
Reggie also scored twice, in home wins over Dartford and Aveley; as well as in a 6-0 victory over Wingate & Finchley in the FA Cup.
It was an eventual eighth place finish for Farnborough who missed out on the Play-Offs on the final day by a single point.

Season 2024/25
Remaining loyal to Boro boss Spencer Day, Reggie signed on for his final season in yellow and blue and turned out for Farnborough 44 times across all competitions.
Young struck a Goal of the Season contender in a 4-1 home victory over Enfield Town, as well as a late equaliser in a dramatic 2-2 draw away at Dorking Wanderers.
The fan favourite helped guide The Yellows to a 10th place finish last season, even starring in April’s 8-2 win at Hampton & Richmond – a National League South record!
Reggie will be missed for his stellar performances up and down the pitch; winning penalties, helping the team to clean sheets and providing many goals and assists down the years.
He was also voted the FaST Supporters’ Player of the Season 2024/25.
