The centre-back joins Boro as a free agent, bringing with him experience from across The National League system.
Born in Luton and developed through Norwich City’s youth academy, Lomas has represented a host of clubs including Southend United, Brackley Town, and most recently Braintree Town.
He also spent time on loan with Slough Town and Hornchurch, and gained experience overseas during a stint with Tampa Bay Rowdies in the United States.
Louis was voted into the 2021/22 National League North Team of the Season from his time at Brackley Town.
Standing at 6’2”, Lomas is a commanding presence at the back. Comfortable playing out from defence and strong in the air, he fits the mould of a modern centre-half and adds depth and versatility to the Farnborough backline.

Farnborough Manager Spencer Day commented: “A player in high demand. He got some great offers, but they were a distance away.
“We’ve got connections with him; [Neil Baker] Bakes knows him well which was a big help. He’s got a wonderful family and his agent. It wasn’t easy getting him to commit to here. He was a very highly-sought after player.
“Again, had a very difficult year last year with injuries so he needs some luck.
“He’s a class outfit and we’ve got four fabulous centre-halves now.”
“I’m absolutely thrilled to get Louis to this club. He’ll be a real quality acquisition. He’s a class centre-half that can also look after the ball, so very pleased with that signing.”
Louis has been allocated shirt number 8.
