A highly regarded young footballer in PO4, Harry joins up with Boro ahead of the big kick-off tomorrow when Eastbourne Borough come to town.
The 18-year-old made his senior debut for Pompey back in January, appearing as a substitute in an Emirates FA Cup Third Round Proper tie at Wycombe Wanderers.
Clout also featured on the bench for the Fratton Park outfit in Sky Bet Championship games against Luton Town, Middlesbrough and Bristol City last season.
Harry was a part of John Mousinho’s Pre-Season training camp out in Slovakia last month, but not after becoming the first Portsmouth Academy player to earn a senior deal in two years.
The versatile midfielder or forward netted against Farnborough in the recently Friendly win at the Saunders Transport Community Stadium, and built up his experience in Pompey’s unbeaten Pre-Season with further games against Crawley Town, Reading, Havant & Waterlooville and Brighton & Hove Albion.

After sealing third signing of the week, Manager Spencer Day added: “Harry gives us pace and threat wide either side and showed his qualities against us in our Pre-Season Friendly.
“Many thanks to everyone at Portsmouth.”
Blue boss John Mousinho also commented: “The next step for him after shining in academy football is to try to get as many minutes as he can in the men’s game.
“We believe that Farnborough will provide a good setting to do just that and we will be watching Harry’s progress with interest.”
Clout has been allocated shirt number 17.
