Open to all abilities, the centre will focus on developing technically efficient players who are also tactically aware — all while enjoying the game in a welcoming environment.
Rob Prince, CEO at Farnborough FC, said: “This is a really exciting step for the club. Futsal is not only fun but also a fantastic way for young players to sharpen their football skills.
“We’re really looking forward to seeing our Futsal Development Centre grow and giving more local kids the chance to play in Farnborough colours.”
Lee Bishop, Chairman of Farnborough FC Futsal, added: “We’ve seen how much futsal can benefit players at all levels, so bringing our Futsal Development Centre under the Farnborough FC banner was the natural next step.
“It gives young players the chance to learn the game properly, improve their technique, and maybe even go on to represent Farnborough at senior futsal in the future.”
The Farnborough FC Futsal Development Centre kicks off in September at various local venues, and spaces are now open to register.
