Dave joined us at the start of the 2022/23 season, as we embarked on a new challenge stepping up to The National League South.

As Goalkeeping Coach, Hill supported number one Jack Turner at training sessions and with crucial pre-match warm-ups home and away for just over three seasons.

We shared some fantastic memories with Dave over the years, most notably The Emirates FA Cup run that ended with a special day out at Wrexham.

The Club would like to thank him for his time with us and wish him all the best for his next venture.

Manager Spencer Day commented: “Dave text me on Thursday night to say [he had] a much better financial offer from Bracknell and unless we could match it, he was taking it. It wasn’t even a conversation. We’re not in a position to do that.

“He’s been around, a great guy; four years. We’ll always be losing players to that type of thing.”

“I think there’s got to be a cool head here to realise we’ve got a great Management team here. We’ve got more than enough. We wish the lads well moving forwards. They’re friends of the club.”

Upon leaving, Dave said: “So after 4 years at Farnborough, my time has come to an end.

“Thank you to everyone at the club and Spencer for the opportunity. Good luck for the season and will see you all soon.”
