Higgs started out his football career with Southampton and went on to make 21 appearances in the Under 18 Premier League, scoring nine goals for The Saints’ Academy side.
The Portsmouth-born striker also had a loan spell at Gosport Borough to aid his development.
Tommy-Lee is also formerly of Bognor Regis Town where he won their Players’ Player of the Season award after scoring 24 goals in a season that saw The Rooks relegated from Isthmian League Premier Division.
Brian Dutton secured the signature of Higgs in July 2025 and he made nine appearances for Salisbury this season prior to a move to the Saunders Transport Community Stadium.

Boro boss Spencer Day said: “We’ve signed Tommy-Lee Higgs who’s mutually agreed to leave Salisbury because he wasn’t getting the game time.
“He’s somebody that we went in for in the summer, but didn’t get him because they wanted compensation which weren’t willing to pay, which again sums up the situation.
“He’s started six games for Salisbury. We haven’t seen him yet at training. He’s only coming in short-term to see if he can get a place with us.
“Can he get in the team? Can he get in the squad? Can he grab the opportunity? He’s desperate to do that which is a fabulous sign.
“He’s a nine or a 10 so he gives us different options. We need to bolster up because the squad is. so thin.”
Tommy-Lee has been allocated shirt number 10.
