Farnborough Football Club would like to send our condolences to the family of Phil, who sadly passed away today.

Phil Down was a much-valued volunteer, giving up lots of his free time helping Kevin Dyer and his team around the Club.

Vice-Chairman Kevin Dyer said: “Phil was much loved around the club by all that knew him. If a job needed doing, he was always one of the first people to volunteer. Rest In Peace and all our thoughts and prayers are with him and his family.”

Ahead of kick-off at tonight’s home game, a minute’s silence will be observed in memory of Phil.
