Combative Kuhl made the switch to The Wanderers in January 2023, having spent the previous three years at the heart of the Slough Town midfield, where he racked up 67 appearances and 7 goals.

Having risen up through Reading’s Academy from the age of 15, Kuhl has also represented Dundee United, Boreham Wood and Hartley Wintney on loan, with a permanent stint at Basingstoke Town in 2019 sandwiched in between.

Aaron has England caps at Under 19 and 20 level to his name, taking to the International stage in victories over Azerbaijan and Czech Republic.

The 28-year-old joined Farnborough on loan last October, where he quickly became a fan favourite in his 28 appearances, scoring 9 goals in the process.

He now returns to the Saunders Transport Community Stadium on an 18-month contract, after recovering from an injury at the start of the season.

Welcome back, Kuhly!

Upon permanently signing for Farnborough, Kuhl said: “I’m very happy to be back. It’s somewhere I enjoyed last year and really happy to get going.

“It’s been an unbelievable start to the season and hopefully I can add to it.”

On the return of his midfield maestro, Boro boss Spencer Day added: “He had so many offers that blew us all away to be fair, but money isn’t everything and his knowledge of the club, location and happiness meant he chose us and we couldn’t be happier!

“I must put on record thanks to our Directors who helped get it over the line and I’m sure our supporters will be as thrilled as me!”

Aaron has been allocated shirt number 20.

Jonathon Page

Farnborough Football Club can also confirm the release of midfielder Jonathon Page.

Day explained: “Sadly I’ve released Pagey, which was a tough call.

“Clearly, we now have a lot of centre midfielders and I have to balance the budget.

“Pagey obviously wants to play week in week out after a terrible year with injuries, but I felt I had to back the players that I see here in the longer term.

“He’s a great player that I’m sure will get back to those levels we saw previously and have a great career ahead and we wish him every success.”
