Defender Robinson has signed a deal to extend his stay in north-east Hampshire into a fourth consecutive season.

Since joining from Metropolitan Police in May 2022, Robbo has made 108 appearances in yellow and blue in all competitions, finding the net seven times from defence.

His recent strike at high-flying Worthing helped Boro to all three points in an impressive 2-1 win on the road last month.

A popular figure around the Club who is also proud to wear the armband having been handed the responsibility by Manager Spencer Day.

Ollie joins Jack Turner and Aaron Kuhl so far in committing their futures to the Club for next season.

Speaking exclusively to the Club’s Media this week, Ollie gave his reaction to signing a new deal: “Really happy. I think it’s a great Club. Everyone around the League knows it’s such a great Club.

“I love all the people in the team and around the squad; and that’s Management and also people up in the Platinum Lounge!”

“I always knew that I could step up and Spencer gave me this opportunity when he got promoted and I’ve really grasped it and shown how much it means to me to play at this level and to do as much as I can for Farnborough Football Club.

Another constant figure in the Boro backline at National League South level has been number one Jack Turner. Robbo added: “Jack’s a great guy, so really pleased that he’s staying and I’m joining him for another season.

“Hopefully we can keep a few of the boys together, but really looking forward to finishing this season strong and really pushing next season again.”

The skipper finished with a message for the Farnborough fanbase: “We really value the support that you bring us.

“Your encouragement, your enthusiasm, your chants – I absolutely love them! I hear them while I’m playing, I hear them while I’m sitting on the bench.

“I know the boys do too and we really value you coming here watching us, so thank you very much.”

Manager Spencer Day added: “Fantastic! Ollie is not only a very good footballer, he has shown real leadership this season.

“With some senior players leaving, he’s stepped up. He’s been Captain on and off and I’ve had to apologise to him that maybe it should have been more on than off.

“He’s got some injuries, but he’s local, he wanted to stay; that was the priority. He was almost the driving force in it, but we’re delighted to extend that another year.

“He and his family are fantastic people – and that is one of our big priorities at this football club.”

“We miss him when he’s not playing. He’s an outstanding young man and we’re absolutely delighted that he’s committed for another year.”
