Formerly of FC Clacton, Brightlingsea Regent and Needham Market, Teddy is promising young striker who is the latest new arrival to the Saunders Transport Community Stadium.

At the age of 16, Collis was playing at Step 5 for FC Clacton where he spent three and a half seasons before progressing to Brightlingsea Regent.

Teddy hit 31 goals and 15 assists for The R’s throughout 2024/25, earning him a trial at Colchester United, before eventually returning to Brightlingsea Regent to net 12 more times in 20 appearances last season.

He moved up another level to the National League North Needham Market back in February, ending the 2024/25 campaign with a total of 16 goals and 9 assists to his name.

Manager Spencer Day added: “We have added Teddy Collis to our squad on an initial short-term deal and he will be available [today] subject to clearances.”

Collis has been allocated shirt number 23.

On the outgoing short-term loans for Cass Fried-Jones and Ben Greenwood, Day explained: “It’s a good deal all round to get these players vital minutes early in the season and we wish them well for the upcoming games.”
