Amir arrives at the Saunders Transport Community Stadium having led the line for St Ives Town in the Southern League Premier Central this season.

Previously of Shefford Town & Campton, he caught the eye of non-league Managers following an impressive spell playing in Spartan South Midlands Premier Division.

Hadi earned a summer move to Biggleswade where he hit six goals in 16 appearances in 2024/25, including a famous backheel goal against York City in The Emirates FA Cup Fourth Round Qualifying.

Despite strong interest from rivals Biggleswade Town, the hotshot striker completed a switch to St Ives Town later that season in November 2024.

Amir makes the step up to the Enterprise National League South, strengthening Farnborough’s firepower heading into a hectic schedule.

Manager Spencer Day told us about his latest new recruit: “He’s a player that has had some trials in the summer at Step Two Clubs. Didn’t quite get a deal but he’s been setting Step Three on fire.

“He’s six foot one, he’s a 10, winger/striker, great attitude. He came in training on Monday. It’s been a bit of a drawn out process with the seven-day approach.

“He’s scoring goals, he’s getting assists. Look, we’ve got to balance that with he hasn’t kicked a ball at Step Two yet, so I’ve warned him what type of challenge that is.

“It’s a big step up but we’re all excited for it.”

“We’re both looking at each other in the short-term. We have to try these type of things.

“We’re very excited to have him. We need that real determination to move forward so I think he’s a really good addition.”

Hadi has been allocated shirt number 11.
