18-year-old midfielder who joined Farnborough on loan from Sky Bet Championship side Reading in December 2022.

A regular in Noel Hunt’s Royals Under 21 side, Ben also enjoyed a loan spell with Hartley Wintney at the start of the 2022/23 season.

Purcell made his Farnborough debut in January 2023, starring in an away victory at Dulwich Hamlet infront of over 3,000 spectators.
