Biography

At the age of 17, Guy started his playing career with Ashford Town (Middlesex) in the Isthmian Premier League, before signing for Carshalton Athletic after a couple of seasons.

Hollis then joined Godalming Town, where he met Joint-Managers Neil Baker and Jon Underwood, who eventually took him across to Slough Town.

Labelled a ‘Rolls-Royce’ for his sterling performances on the pitch, he went on to make over 200 appearances for the Berkshire outfit, most notably winning promotion to The National League South via the Play-Offs in 2017/18.

Guy had a short spell with Farnborough mid-way through the 2019/20 season and went on to play for Havant & Waterlooville following his departure from Arbour Park in January 2022.

He returned to Slough Town after a short spell away and then left for Bracknell Town in December 2022, having made 292 appearances in total for The Rebels.

The towering centre-back made the short hop across the border to Farnborough from Farnham Town, where he was their Club Captain.

The popular defender now reunites with former Manager Neil Baker, as well as former Rebel Jack Turner.
