Liam netted 25 goals in 29 appearances in his inaugural season with Metropolitan Police, but decided to leave Imber Court this Summer for a return to Step Two.

Prolific in front of goal, Ferdinand is a Wembley winner from his time at Thatcham Town when they reached The FA Vase Final in 2017/18.

The sharp-shooter is also formerly of Marlow, Bracknell Town, Hungerford Town, Harrow Borough and Binfield – the latter where he netted over 60 goals in two seasons including twice at Wembley Stadium in The FA Vase Final 2020/21.

In his time at Bracknell Town, Liam was called up to the England C team that played in the Falkland Islands in November 2018.

The new striker is well known to Boro fans having been a constant thorn in the Metropolitan Police side throughout the many League and Cup meetings last season – not to mention scoring the winning goal in an FA Cup Replay at the Easy As HGV Stadium!
