Mitchell’s early football career included spells as an 18 year-old at Tottenham Hotspur and Leicester City FC, before spending the 2013/14 season at Hayes and Yeading United. After playing in Portugal, he returned to the UK and signed for Hellenic League club Highmoor Ibis in 2015 (since renamed Reading City), where he spent three successful seasons. Other former clubs include Basingstoke Town, Hartley Wintney and Bracknell Town. Mitch scored on his Farnborough debut, away at Weston-Super-Mare in January 2022, and got the vital winner in the play-off semi-final last season.
