Joined Farnborough in November 2011 and oversaw a turnaround fortunes securing the Club’s status in the Conference South in the following three seasons. After two relegations, mainly due to off-field issues, successfully gained promotion to The Southern League Premier Division in 2016/17 through the Play-Offs after finishing the season a comfortable second.

After successfully navigating the COVID-19 pandemic, Day guided the team to promotion back to Step Two last season with victory in The Southern League Premier South Play-Off Final, having spent virtually all season at the top of the division.

Known for his relentless work behind the scenes, furnishing the players with all they need to know about each opponent, Spencer, working closely with the Club Owner, has brought a period of stability and success to Farnborough.
