Biography

Prolific Pavey signed for Farnborough after a successful season in The Vanarama National League South with Braintree Town and Dover Athletic – where he scored a penalty against Boro!

Born in Southwark, he started his career with Maidstone United back in 2012, catching the eye of Millwall where he signed on a two-year Academy Scholarship a year later. Loan moves to Barnet, Aldershot Town, Bromley, Hampton & Richmond Borough and Dartford ensued, before eventually departing for Welling United in June 2017.

A short stint with The Wings saw a switch back to Dartford, where he scored 22 goals in 38 games and took The National League South Player of the Season award.

Pavey then played for Havant & Waterlooville, Dover Athletic, Barnet, Dartford (again, on loan!), before sealing a move to Maidstone United for the 2021/22 season.

The one-time England C International, signed permanently for Dover Athletic at the start of last season, but moved to Essex to help Braintree Town’s Play-Off charge in January 2023.

Boro’s new frontman then swapped Essex for Hampshire, penning a deal at the Easy As HGV Stadium for the 2023/24 season.
